Jordanelle Ridge Snow Removal Procedures
In anticipation of snow storms, crews will prepare for snow removal:
- Snow removal will begin when 2″ of snow has accumulated on roads and walkways
- Salt distribution will begin when the temperature drops and there has been enough moisture for icy roads
- Snow removal efforts will be ongoing during snowstorms and will continue until all roads and walkways in the Community are cleared
Roads
- Jordanelle Ridge maintains the private roads within the residential neighborhoods.
- Heber City maintains the public roads leading to the neighborhoods such as Coyote Canyon Rd.
- Priority is given to areas presenting more challenging driving conditions such as hills and intersections.
Walkways
- Paved common area walkways are cleared and salted within 24 hours of a storm.
- Individual driveways and walkways are the homeowner’s responsibility.
Parking
- Parking on streets is prohibited. Cars parked on the street during snow events impede the Community’s ability to clear the roads. safely and effectively. Cars parked on streets during snow events may receive a violation from the HOA or be towed at the owner’s expense.
Personal Responsibility
- While the Community strives to clear and salt the roads and walkways promptly after a storm, drivers and pedestrians should always be prepared to drive and walk in snow and icy conditions.
