Dear homeowners,
I hope this email finds you well. This is Logan with Jordanelle Ridge Master Association. I’m reaching out to offer a friendly reminder that on-street parking is not permitted within the residential streets of the Jordanelle Ridge community. This is especially important during snow events when snow plow trucks need to clear snow from the streets effectively. As we look at the weather forecast and are anticipating multiple snow events in the coming week, we urge homeowners and their guests to park their vehicles in their garages and driveways and not on the street.
Please also be aware that during heavier snow events, as the snow plows clear snow from the main roadways, they may push a berm of snow onto or in front of residential driveways. While snow plow drivers will try to minimize the amount of snow accumulating in driveways, their primary objective is to clear the roadways, and do not necessarily have the time and resources to clear snow from individual drive approaches. For this reason, snow removal of driveway approaches is the resident’s responsibility.
When clearing snow from driveways and drive approaches, snow should be placed on the sides of the driveway in the front yard areas, and not in the roadway. This will minimize snow accumulation in drive approach areas during snow plowing operations. Putting the snow in the roadway can cause delays in snow removal service as well as damage to personal property.
Be safe out there and please let us know if additional assistance is needed.
Thanks,
Logan Watson, AMS, CMCA
